By the fact that you have come to this website it means you have an interest in the conditions related to the spectrum. You may have a friend or loved one who has already been diagnosed,or that you may feel has 'differences' that are causing you concern. Whatever your reasons, you will find a wealth of support and information here.
The Autistic Spectrum Support Group (ASSG) was founded to offer support to all touched by any condition in the spectrum.
These include - ASPERGERS, ADHD, AUTISM, BI POLAR, DYSPRAXIA, FRAGILE X, PDD, SPD, TOURETTES. to name just a few.
Initially we were a local group but have now moved onto the net and will in time attain charity status. This will allow us to broaden our horizons and help many more who come to us. It is our intention with this site to provide you with information on a wealth of subjects. These will include defintions of many conditions. Diagnostic criteria. Behavioural plans. Medications. Natural remedies. These are just the tip of the iceberg!!
If you click on our the children's pic you will be linked to our support club on the net. Here people from all over the world meet and support each other. Support comes in many forms - Information, a sympathetic ear, a forum to 'meet' on line and chat with others, laughter, a safe place to vent, cry and just be yourself. The membership is growing all the time and so far we have won an award for our efforts!
